6. Currency: Kuwait Dinar. 1 kuwait dinar = rm11.35.

Almost everybody has big/expensive cars such ferrari..porshe..lamborghini..bmw..merc..audi.well you just name it they have!. You know why?
It is simply the cars are so cheap..a brand new bmw 320i costs only 7k dinars..

Some facts about mulberry:

Origin: The white mulberry is native to eastern and central China. It became naturalized in Europe centuries ago. The tree was introduced into America for silkworm culture in early colonial times and naturalized and hybridized with the native red mulberry. The red or American mulberry is native to eastern United States from Massachusetts to Kansas and down to the Gulf coast. The black mulberry is native to western Asia and has been grown for its fruits in Europe since before Roman times.
Fruit: Botanically the fruit is not a berry but a collective fruit, in appearance like a swollen loganberry. When the flowers are pollinated, they and their fleshy bases begin to swell. Ultimately they become completely altered in texture and color, becoming succulent, fat and full of juice. In appearance, each tiny swollen flower roughly resembles the individual drupe of a blackberry. The color of the fruit does not identify the mulberry species. White mulberries, for example, can produce white, lavender or black fruit. White mulberry fruits are generally very sweet but often lacking in needed tartness. Red mulberry fruits are usually deep red, almost black, and in the best clones have a flavor that almost equals that of the black mulberry. Black mulberry fruits are large and juicy, with a good balance of sweetness and tartness that makes them the best flavored species of mulberry. The refreshing tart taste is in some ways reminiscent of grapefruit. Mulberries ripen over an extended period of time unlike many other fruits which seem to come all at once.

KULIM: Last Saturday 19/04/08 - went to Sungai Sedim Tree Top Walk just to pass time over the weekend and you know something? I was amazed to discover that the Sedim Tree Top Walk is the world's longest and tallest and situated right in our very own country Malaysia!(In it's catogary. It's made of galvanised steel weighing more than 422 tonne).

As you stroll along the walkway you can see and even touch the leaves of some trees nearby , namely "Chengal, Meranti, Kulim etc." I bet it is indeed going to be a very interesting moment and experience for you once you're there:)

My Visit to Gua Tempurung:

Located in Gopeng Perak Malaysia and can be reached via North-South Highway. Exit the NS Highway at the Gopeng Interchange then proceed south towards Kampar using the old Federal Route. About 5km turn left and you will reach Gua Tempurung in about 10 minutes drive from the junction. Here are two breathtaking pictures that I managed to capture with my handphone camera but unfortunately others are blurred or rather dark due to insufficient light inside the cave.

Top right:I call it 'A Secrete Face'. (Best view in thumbnail). As for your information, there are a lot more natural eye-catching limestone formations that can be found in the magnificent and wondrous cave . To name a few, a stalagmite named after Osama, the stalactites that resembling a butterfly, a leg of a woman and an elephant head complete with its trunk, on the wall of the cave I also could see clearly some of the "paintings" which looked like a cat, chicken and etcetera. Beside all those stuffs one of the most beautiful sights that I have ever seen was the subteranean river with crystal clear water flowing inbetween its beautiful marble banks underneath the cave. To sum up I guess it is a perfect place for somebody who wants to know more about caves. Are you a speleologist? hehe..
Looking foward to my next trip and hopefully I shall be able to complete the whole tour of which will take about four hours over the 4km trek.

*Note:
This cave was used by the Communists as a hide out from 1950 to 1960, there are drawings and writings in Mandarin found on the wall in the Rolls Royce Chamber.In the Gergasi Chamber, you will see some tools left by the Communists and miners who were mining for tin in the early 1970's. There is a beautiful hanging rock garden at Alam Chamber.

I Love Golf

It takes both the rain and sunshine to make a rainbow.

You would not believe me if I were to tell you that I used to hate those guys who talked about golf would you? Telling stories about the game they played.... and at one time I even made a promise to myself, if I were to take up any game definitely it would not be golf but one day out of my curiousity, I braved myself and of course swallowed my pride trying out the game all by myself, quietly though. It was just like going through hell especially during the initial stage of learning how to hit the golf balls...it was not as easy as I have thought. To cut the story short, after several weeks of practicing, a good friend of mine invited me to play a round of golf with him and at the end of the game, he told me that I was not playing golf but instead playing a hockey game. Who cares, I enjoyed it very much anyway. Well thank God those hard times were long been forgotten and now I am very happy to be able to play the game with a valid handicap 12 USGA everywhere I go, with any other golfer around the world for that matter. Golf anyone? :-)

The Book

Earl Woods wrote a lot of nice things about the game in his book which was published in 1997. Here are some of the excerpts in one of the chapters which I love most and would like to share with you.
